RÖDER HTS HÖCKER GMBH’s Tent Expo exhibition attracts more and more visitors every year, with even the final day of the four-day event at the Wächtersbach exhibition showground proving to be very well attended. A full range of RÖDER HTS HÖCKER tent systems were on show, as well as products made by industry suppliers in the exhibitors area.

Around 2,000 visitors came to Wächtersbach between the Thursday and the Saturday.

At the centre of the event was the 20 x 40m two-storey tent, an AUDI design. Aside from the tent’s impressive honeycomb façade, the generously-proportioned terrace proved to be one of the highlights enjoyed most. This structure was a RÖDER HTS-Manhattan system combined with an Avantgarde glass front. This system has ultimately proven to be an outright bestseller for RÖDER HTS. “We can barely satisfy demand”, Heinz Röder .

The majority of partner exhibitors were to be found on the ground floor of the tent, where products such as furniture, technology for keder hooks and table linen were on display.

Another highlight of the exhibition was the showcasing of the Carbon tent system, which is now available in a width of 40 metres. One year after officially going on sale, the new material is arousing a great deal of interest. Heinz Röder is particularly pleased with sales in European countries outside Germany: “In countries such as France and Italy, but also in Scandinavia too, is where demand is particularly high.”

On this occasion, a larger amount of space and attention was afforded to military and rescue tents, where the selection of products on offer ranged from troop tents to tank maintenance tents.

Röder HTS Höcker GmbH, Germany, was recognized with the 2011 International Achievement Award (IAA) for design excellence in specialty fabrics applications.

Röder HTS Höcker GmbH received an Outstanding Achievement Award for it’s project The Absolute Structure. The project was recognized in the competition’s Tent manufacturing & design category.

The ceremony took place at the IFAI Expo Americas 2011 at the Baltimore Convention Center in Baltimore, Md. on October 25.The annual IFAI Expo Americas is the largest specialty fabrics trade show in the Americas, and for more than six decades, IAA has recognized excellence in design and innovation, highlighting truly spectacular work in the specialty fabrics industry. .

Another successful year for RÖDER HTS HÖCKER GmbH at the annual Showman's Show held in October at the Newbury show ground, England.

RÖDER HTS HÖCKER main structure was a 15.00m span by 15.00m RÖDER HTS PREMIUM - tent structure on a 3.00m side height with a curved roof system incorporating clear PVC skylight panels, solid ABS wall panels, single glazed laminated full height windows, a suspended cassette flooring system with an integral entrance canopy. The access ramp and entrance platform was supplied by PARS- Ramps.

To the rear of the main structure a selection of frames and tents from both the Hoecker and Roder HTS ranges, including framework from the lightweight Carbon-Alloy structures range.  Elite hire supplied the furniture and bar - to give the whole stand a stylish feel.

This year event was busy for the team at Roder HTS Höcker with enquires from existing customers in the marquee hire industry and new enquiries from end user venues - looking for more permanent hospitality facilities.

The company announces the acquisition of 22,000m² of land adjacent to the current 42,000m² production facility.  The new site will provide adequate additional space for future expansion. The first phase is set for completion in February 2012 with the construction of a 2,600m² state-of-the-art PVC cover making facility.

Innovative Temporary Space Systems – TENT EXPO 2010.

The Röder HTS Höcker  2010 TENT-EXPO took place between 17-20 November 2010 at  the Wächtersbach exhibition ground, Germany.

The exhibition attracted more than 2,000 visitors who travelled from around the world for the four day event. There were many good reasons for visiting 2010 TENT-EXPO since Röder HTS Höcker presented several new innovative structures for the rental industry  and also celebrated the official launch of the new CARBON-TENT-series.

The 2010 TENT -EXPO showcased the complete range of tent systems and accessory  products available from Röder HTS Höcker. In addition, the ever growing exhibition hall proved sucessful for both  visitors and the trade suppliers who travelled from around the globe to exhibit their event industry related products.These included  linings, heating, air conditioning, furniture, cover cleaning machines, rental software programmes and much more.  

Röder HTS Höcker was the only world leading tent systems manufacturer offering a TENT EXPO in 2010 to its clients. HTS Hocker was recognized with the 2010 International Achievement Award (IAA) presented by the Industrial Fabrics Association International (IFAI) for design excellence in specialty fabrics applications.

HTS Hocker received an Outstanding Achievement Award for its Super GP Shade Structures project. The project was recognized in the competition’s Tent Manufacturing category.

The award ceremony took place at IFAI Expo Americas 2010 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla., where the annual trade event ran from Oct. 27-29. IFAI Expo is the largest specialty fabrics trade show in the Americas.

For more than six decades, the IFAI International Achievement Awards (IAA) has recognized excellence in design and innovation, highlighting truly spectacular work in the specialty fabrics industry.

This year marks the 63rd annual IAA competition. Entrants were encouraged to submit projects and compete in 29 categories. In all, IFAI received 383 entries from 13 countries. Entries were judged by industry experts, editors, architects, educators and design professionals who were selected for their knowledge in a particular field of study or product area. Winners were selected based on complexity, design, workmanship, uniqueness and function.
